Viktor Mazdorov was born in 1956 in the village of Nikolaevka (Altai, Russia). In 1971 he enrolled in the Bijsk Pedagogical Training College at graphic department. In 1975 he successfully graduated it and was assigned to a Secondary Shipunovsky School as a teacher of drawing and sketching. In 1978 he entered in the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical Institute of Art at graphic faculty. In 1990, Viktor Mazdorov created an Art Birch Bark Studio in Kolyvan (Russia). In 2002, the Art Studio moved to Novosibirsk (Russia).
Bark called the warmth of wood. Even when it's cold, it feels very warm, because it has a great positive energy. Undoubtedly, the main love of Viktor Mazdorov are icons. Viktor Mazdorov is an author and developer of manufacturing technology of icons. Viktor's creative method is based on a careful study and observance of the canons of creating iconic images and the use of a wide range of decorative properties of birch bark. Many people feels the beneficial effects of this icons. Touching the birch bark, Viktor turns it into elegant, harmonious and graceful things adorns marvelous lace birch bark, competing with nature itself. All art-works are fully handmade, without stamps.
Viktor Mazdorov's art-works are in private collections in Russia, Germany, America, Japan, England and other countries, as well as many famous people and politicians as Putin, Yeltsin, etc. In addition, Viktor makes a lot of exhibitions, his art-works are in museums in the city of Novosibirsk and Novosibirsk region, in Novokuznetsk, Tomsk, and in other cities of Russia. The collection of art-works of Viktor Mazdorov is in an unique Museum of the Siberian birch bark.
Viktor has received numerous certificates and diplomas. He is the author of Emblem Kolyvansky area. He is in the Artists Union of Russia.
